It's the Weekend!

The weekend is here! Before I left school in the fall, I decided that I wanted to carve a Fleur de lis pendant and cast it in silver. So, I am posting a couple of pics so you can see the first part of the process. I'm almost done carving it. This weekend should be lots of fun. Tonight, we are having our first game night with a few couples. Jeff and I are pretty excited. Last night, he said we needed to practice, but we don't know what game we will be playing, so no time to strategize. Also, we will be working on the house! We are really getting down to the wire, since I will be done with school in August and we still have a house to sell before we go. So, hopefully we will be able to gets lots done this weekend! It's Been A While...

I had grand aspirations of blogging all the time for everyone to keep track of the Hough Family. My friend Heather recently informed me that I wasn't doing such a great job, so I am going to try this again! After a LONG few months in Houston doing Claims Adjusting, we are back in Paris and in the swing of things again. I started school back a few weeks ago, and Jeff is back at work at good ole Denney Architects. Sawdust is also back to protecting the household from intruders, flies, plastic bags, or whatever else he feels the need to bark at from the safety of the front door! So watch out everyone...the blog is back. Get excited Heather!
