Baton Rouge Visit

A couple of weeks ago Jeff and I went down to Baton Rouge for a visit. It was Ali's birthday week and she and Sam flew down to visit, so we decided to go too! It had been several months since we had seen them, and Sam has grown up so much! He is precious! Our visit seemed too short as usual, but we had a great weekend! Here are a few pics from the trip. Most are of Sam, of course, but one is of a bald eagle we saw off the interstate going to New Orleans. Very cool!

Our House

Last weekend, my parents came to help us with the house. As all of you know, the house has been a massive project that has seemed never ending. Well, it looks like the end is finally in sight!! We got so much done while they were here. The scary bathroom that I never went in is finished. Now instead of a huge hole in the kitchen, there is a dishwasher! We don't have too many things left on our list, and hopefully we will be done within the month. It is now officially in writing on the internet, so we must follow through! Unfortunately, we were so busy working that I didn't take time to pThanks so much Mom and Dad for your help!
