Soooo much has happened since the last time I blogged! Which is why it has been almost 2 months since the last post. I keep saying I am going to get better about blogging more frequently...maybe after we move. Which brings me to these changes! Okay, here goes:
A I graduate from school in 9 days! Wow! So much to do...so little time.
B We got jobs! Jeff is going to be working at Stocks Mann Architects and I will be working at
Cecil's Fine Jewelry. We are sooo pumped to have been able to find jobs in this economy.
As for me, my job just sounds so perfect. It seems to offer everything I had been looking for
in my first job as a jeweler. And Jeff will be working with our good friend Patrick!
C We sold our house! I never even had a chance to blog about the fact that our first contract got canceled, and we thought we were just going to have to leave a vacant house in Paris for an indefinite amount of time. Anyway, the Tuesday after we got our jobs, we showed our house and had an offer the next day! God is so good!
D We found a place to live in Little Rock! We went up there 2 weekends ago, and found a house
in a location that we LOVED. We had no idea about the price, whether or not they allowed
pets, etc. So the following Monday, we called and signed the lease that day. We sound pretty
crazy, but are renting this place without ever going inside...hope we like it! Oh well, if we
don't, we still will love the area, which is the whole reason for picking the place.
So, basically, every single aspect of our lives have fallen into place in the last 3 weeks. It's just crazy. Until then, really nothing had. But as my mom reminded me, God's timing and ours are not always the same. He promises to meet our needs, but not necessarily when I want things to happen. Just at the right time!
We couldn't be more excited about the future! I guess we will spend our last week enjoying the lovely town of Paris :)
